The different series vary between 0.125"-3" in the single layer type; 0.28"-4.5" in the multi-layer type and 0.5"-5" in reticulated type.
Single layer:
The LS series products are high loss, low density microwave absorbers made with flexible foam. By virtue of it's precise carbon impregnation, the LS series is ideal for suppression of electromagnetic energy and unwanted static buildup.
- Ideal for suppression of electromagnetic energy
- Placement in a cavity will reduce multiple reflections, which result in improved performance
- Easily cut, wrapped, and applied
Multi Layer:
The ML series is a family of lightweight, flexible, open-cell foam absorbers that are designed for broadband applications. Multilayer absorbers function on an impedance matching principle. As the ML series is electrically, rather than geometrically tapered, reflection loss characteristics of -20dB are achievable in a space efficient package.
- * Broadband absorption from 500 MHz to 40 GHz
* Flexible and lightweight
- * Controls surface currents
- * Easily cut to shape
- * Conductive ground plane available
- * Easy attachment with pressure sensitive adhesive
- * Surface treatment available for outdoor and harsh environment applications.
Reticulated:
The RT series is a group of open-cell, carbon-loaded foam absorbers. Exacting control of the conductive gradient provides outstanding broadband performance. RT's open cell structure is an excellent conduit for convective airflow. Lightweight and flexible, RT is offered in flat form or in a convoluted format for higher electrical performance.
