- Thin EMI absorber sheets-
WX series: Specially designed with high permeability and high temperature resistance, the WX series provides superior EMI absorption by combining proprietary, high- performance magnetic materials into a flexible, reliant elastomer. WX series is designed to work in 100MHZ-3GHz.
WD series: A wide range of permeabilities & UL94-V0 rated, the WD series is embedding the magnetic metal powders into a flexible thermoplastic sheet, available in a wide range of product formulations with varying permeability, surface resistance, elongation and thickness. The UL94-V0 provides a flame retardant solution.
WK series: Comprised of an ultra thin polyurethane film, that has been treated on one side with a refined matrix of absorber materials; the WK series represents a paradigm shift in absorber technology. This series offers effective EMI control from 100MHz-3GHz.
- Molded and extruded thermoplastic absorbers- Injection molding is available within the Wave-X product family, which gives you the flexibility to build a reliable and cost-effective EMI absorbing enclosure for troublesome chips and circuits. Most importantly, Wave-X solutions can be extruded directly over wire and cable systems. This makes Wave-X one of the most innovative and customizable solutions for reducing and eliminating excess noise from cables and electronic harnesses. This ability to extrude Wave-X material allows cross-signal contamination from cables to be virtually eliminated. With Wave-X, there is no longer a need to use ferrites or other bulky, unsightly countermeasures. Wave-X can increase production efficiency, reduce part content, and ultimately compress the time-to-market cycle for your products.
- RFID-enhancing absorbers-In a 13.56MHz RFID system, metals close to the antenna degrade communication performance.
This can be solved by applying a magnetic absorber sheet between the metal surfaces and the antenna of an RFID tag and/or a reader/writer the magnetic flux is drawn toward the absorber.
Interference with metal surfaces is suppressed and system communication distance is enhanced.
This solution also reduces null problems within the system.
- Wave-X Heat-shrink tube absorbers- It's designed to integrate seamlessly with wire and cable assemblies, neatly sealing junctions & connector interfaces, while absorbing any unwanted EMI interference. These heat shrinks have an inner layer of thermoplastic polymer, blending in exacting rations with magnetically permeable powders. The outer layer is a dielectric thermoset polymer.
